Signs of hearing loss:

Basically, there are three types of hearing loss which a doctor will examine the patient for. First, there is Conductive Hearing Loss. Next up, the doctor will examine a patient for signs of Sensorineural Hearing Loss. If the doctor did not decide it was one of those two possibilities, the patient either has Mixed Hearing Loss or Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder.
Conductive hearing loss is caused by something that stops the sound from traveling from the outer or middle ear. This type of hearing loss can often times be treated with medicine or surgery. Check back again for the next article of this series.
