It’s the time of year for colds and flus…While colds are unpredictable, flu is a much more preventable disease. The CDC has recommendations for who would benefit most from a flu vaccine:
-children up to age 5
-adults older than age 65
-pregnant women
-people with underlying medical conditions like asthma, chronic lung disease, diabetes, immunosuppression from medications or HIV, morbid obesity, among others
-health care workers
